Team Colors

Here is my new endeavor!  Team color Rosary for the Wrist bracelets!  What do you think?  I love this one.  Many sports teams from elementary school to professional teams proudly display these colors.

As I look at the birthstone bracelets I have already made, I realized that many are color combinations of sports teams.  Burgundy and gold, blue and gold, green and white and so much more.  Many schools and professional teams share the same color combination so why not market my bracelets as Team Color bracelets?

This bracelet in the photo represents a local elementary school (of which there must be one in every town who shares these colors), at least two universities of which I've only research about 10 universities and I don't know how many high schools!  How about team leagues? There must be hundreds of team leagues of soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey and more that would love to see their team colors represented here.  Be sure to visit my etsy shop (click on the etsy mini shop to the right) and visit my Team Color section to find the colors you would like to wear!  It will be a few more days before I post them so give me a chance to find as many color combinations within my bracelet inventory as I can!

So for you sports fans whether you are a soccer Mom rooting for you child's team or a pro-team fanatic, these bracelets will help you show your Team Colors!

Remember to post your prayer intentions.  I've been praying the rosary every morning with my walk.  I have 5 decades to pray so there are plenty of Hail Mary's to include your prayer.  Thank you and do pray today..the Lord is waiting.

Time Gone "BYE"

Time has gone "Bye"!  Isn't that the truth?  I feel my last blog post was yesterday when in fact it was months ago!  One has to say, "bye" to the time we've "had" but can we actually say, "good bye"? Was that time gone by good or not?  I have to say my time "gone by" was "good bye" as so many wonderful things have happened to me since then.  My etsy shop expired where by most of you would be mortified, for me its a blessing because now I can post bracelets one at a time allowing for more "time" to spend marketing it!  You see, there is a blessing in everything not matter how good or bad the situation is...you will find a blessing.  How you ask?  Simply by taking the "time" to look for it.  Often more times than not, I see people in a bad situation coping poorly and not seeing the blessing with in.  Why is that? mostly because the person takes the situation personally as if an offense was issued on purpose "to" them.  For instance, after leaving the grocery store you find a ding on your car door.  How do you feel? how do you react? most people react with rage or a milder form of anger.  We rant and swear with our hands on our hips looking about the parking lot for the culprit.  We analyze the car next to us to see if the paint matches.  Once we drive away, we stew about it and it grows inside of us. How could this have happened to me? we ask ourselves.  Why me?  why couldn't that person have parked somewhere else?  Realizing the ding was not done by a person from your past looking to exert an old high school revenge upon you, you can relax!  Its that simple.  These things happen.  Maybe within the time you were surveying the ding, you missed the opportunity of the person that ran the red light at the grocer's front entrance therefore saving your life.  This is a possiblity..hhmmmm, one has to wonder.  It doesn't change the fact that the ding exists however it makes looking at it a bit easier.  Think of all the blessings in your day, you may be surprised at what you find!

Email your prayer requests or post them here so my prayer team can pray for you.  Chat soon!  Kathleen

A Prayer is needed

Hello, I want to take this moment to ask everyone and anyone who visits here to stop, close your eyes (after reading this) and either say a prayer or send healing thoughts to 2 people: first is my neighbor who will be induced tomorrow  Tues, April 22nd to have her first baby.  As some women know, induction of birth means a very hard labor and as a first baby this could be a long arduous labor.  Please keep "my neighbor" in your thoughts and/or prayers for a quick labor and a healthy baby.  Secondly, pray or send healing thoughts to April in Kansas City, MI that her back will heal quickly and effectively since her accident in January.  She was in her car at a stop when hit by a driver traveling at highway speeds.  To this day her back is having spasms causing great pain.  We have all had back pain or weakness at some point in our lives and can understand to a lesser degree her pain.  Lift her intention for rapid healing up to the powers that be so that they can reach out and help her!  For any atheist out there, just think of these 2 people in a positive way so that much like the butterfly effect your good thoughts will magnify and help.  There is energy and power in all of us, let us use it for the better of someone other than ourselves.  Thank you!

New Photos from a Great Camera

After much time visiting other Etsy shops and comparing photos of my shop to those on Etsy's home page, I concluded it was time to take new photos of my bracelets.   Here is an example of a nice new shot.  Soft, soothing and representative of the Rosary itself, at least I think so!  Hope you like them as well.  My Etsy mini-shop to the right has a few other shots of bracelets taken with the Bible either closed or open.  Today I will photograph them on an old hymnal book I have.  I really feel those shots will come out just as beautiful.  The true credit goes to my new Canon camera: the S5IS.  Wow!  for the price, this camera is a gem!  Check it out on epinions.com and at your local retailer!

Keep the faith and keep praying...its healthy both emotionally and spiritually!  Enjoy the day!

Green with envy!

Wear these and others will be "Green with envy"!  The green Peridot crystals are soft against the weight of the silver fans while the open airiness of the crosses allow for fluid movement against the jaw line.  Eye catching.  Simple while elegant.

For all my Catholic friends, the complete ensemble of the bracelet and earrings is a comfort when you want to pray.  Even if you are not savvy with the Rosary prayers, you will feel the comfort of your faith having your rosary on your wrist.  Think about it...even better...pray about it.  Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, " declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (NIV).

Earrings to Match!

As I promised, here is a set of earrings to match a bracelet.  Fascinating how the Alexandrite crystal, shown here, is blue however in florescent light it is pink and in sunlight it changes to purple!  Now I may have that reversed!  Either way, color changes are certainly magical.  Just as the original Alexandrite stone changes color, Swarovski managed to create a crystal to do the same.

Remember to post your prayer requests here at the end of this post in "comments".  It will ask you to join which is just a quick step of which you have no obligation.

Enjoy the day and return to see another set of earrings later!  I have a few more that I think will "Wow" you!

An Easter Prayer for all of You!

Our Heavenly Father, please smile upon us as we are reminded of your Son's resurrection this Easter Sunday. We lift up our prayer intentions to you so that you can comfort us in our grief or smile upon us in our glory! All the same, Dear Lord, just shine your heavenly light upon us and guide us through Easter with all Your mercy and grace. May we remember this special occasion and be reminded of it all year round. In your Heavenly name we pray, Amen!

Thank you for praying with me. Enjoy your Easter and may the Lord's word guide you throughout all your days!

"I'm too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed"

Easter Weekend

Today is a Great Day, the Eve of Easter.  A day for the Rosary to be prayed.  Yesterday, I received a request for matching earrings for my bracelets and I've begun production.  Visit my etsy shop soon to see the beauties that match.  Nothing completes an ensemble more than earrings! Black Beauty

Well, I made it and she LOVED IT!  Black Beauty will make one woman very happy this Sunday as she will be her niece's God Mother.  What a special bond to be a God Mother, something I have never been blessed with.  My husband who is not very religious is the God Father of 4 kids.  Fortunately, most have passed 18  years old and no longer need a God parent!

Esty was the topic of a wonderful article in the Wall Street Journal yesterday.  It was exciting for a newbie like me to see.  The article highlighted a website for Etsy lovers.  I looked at it and joined.  I enjoy how the Etsy world is expanding and connecting so many crafters together. Everyday I see more and more fascinating things people create.  Mind you, I also see a few odd things and some that are so so however, overall people are imaginative and very creative.

For anyone wanting a prayer request, please email your prayer request by clicking on "contact" in  my etsy shop (www.truevirtue.etsy.com). So far, 9 requests have been made this week.  Once I get an update regarding these requests, I'll report back.  Enjoy your day everyone.

Remember, we are too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed!

It's Getting Better

Hello and thank you for checking in on my progress. For my returning readers, you will see that I've made some substantial changes! An Etsy Mini Shop, a PayPal Shop and a new background with layout. The world wide web has made communication amongst us all more and more user friendly. Being a Kindergartener in the world wide web school of web building, I can't say I'm doing badly. In one twenty four hour period, True Virtue has a blog site, a picasaweb account and uploaded shops! Yikes...there has to be more to learn? If anyone has suggestions please tell me right away! I'm up for learning more now that the flood gates have been opened.

Check back tomorrow...let's see what I can come up with next.

Don't forget to email me through the "contact" in www.truevirtue.etsy.com with your prayer requests or leave it in a comment at the end of this blog post. I have a team of 3 women ready to pray.

Take care!

Getting Started

Hello! I've taken the plunge and started a blog! I haven't a clue as to what I am doing however I have a goal in mind. Early in February my brother educated me about the vast community on the web. My daily routine was to check emails and visit woot.com to see what was for sale. I'd clean out my iwon.com email account hoping just once that Neiman Marcus would have those stunning Prada shoes on sale! No go...I need to sell more bracelets to get those shoes. Anyhow, I had not a clue until Frank told me about esty.com and blogger.com! Wow, I've lived a sheltered life. Esty..Esty? You ask. My goodness, you don't know! Why, Martha Stewart highlighted this site on her show a week ago. Here have a look: connect to http://www.truevirtue.etsy.com/ and see what I mean!

I love my etsy shop and hope to tell the world. Please tell the world with me...let's get as many bracelets on women as we can. Even if these women do not pray the rosary, I want them to feel one step closer in their faith whether their faith is Catholic or not. I want them to know they are only a prayer away from comfort, from support, from faith and from spiritual freedom!

Ok, as I said, I'm trying to figure all this out. My site will not look pretty for a while but bear with me...learning off the cuff!

Love, hugs and prayers to you all. As my friend, Kelly, always says, "I'm too blessed to be stressed"! Thank you.

P.S. if you leave an email here or on truevirtue.etsy.com do so and tell me what you think. Also, if you have a prayer intention that I can pray about for you, I will, just say so!
